Quick Guide
The recorded talent screen shows 11 Beast Mastery, 32 Marksmanship and 8 Survival points. The video also displays an Aimed Shot amulet in the Codex; its final run outcome and the point-by-point purchase order have not been verified.
- Compare your Hunter's earned points, equipment and game version with the recorded character.
- Inspect the current talent and amulet descriptions before adapting the older setup.
- Use the recorded final allocation as a reference, not as a tested levelling sequence.
Holdherhand's Hunter recording, published on 24 October 2026, shows a developed character on game build 0.115.0. The character has earned all 51 talent points and collected 46 of 54 equipment pieces. This historical setup is not a verified fresh-character route or current-best ranking.

Start with your own Hunter's progression
Our fresh Hunter on browser build 0.124.0 showed Auto Shot as its starting spell, no talent points, no collected equipment and one open zone. The recorded Night Elf Hunter had all 12 zones open and 46 of 54 pieces collected, so the two characters are at different progression stages. The class reference compares starting spells across all nine classes.

Recorded talent allocation
At 0:12, the talent screen displays 11 Beast Mastery, 32 Marksmanship and 8 Survival points, with all 51 earned points spent. The highlighted Tame Beast talent shows rank 1/1 and describes a wolf fighting at the Hunter's side. The screen records a completed arrangement; it does not show the order in which the points were earned or invested.
In our fresh Hunter's v0.125.0 menu, Tame Beast required 10 points in Beast Mastery. Kill Shot required 30 points in Marksmanship and one rank in Rapid Fire; its tooltip says it starts a run with Aimed Shot, shortens that spell's cooldown by 15%, and readies it after a killing blow at most once every two seconds.
Both talents were rank 0/1 on our fresh character. These are displayed prerequisites and descriptions, not a combat test; we have not independently tested the complete 11/32/8 allocation on a newer build or compared its damage with other Hunter builds.

The creator's stated card priorities
In the automatically generated captions around 1:02–1:35, the creator describes focusing upgrades on Aimed Shot, with Auto Shot and Multi-Shot as other options. He describes an exception when an Auto Shot offer adds targets and the Aimed Shot offer is lower rarity; he also says he would focus Auto Shot if using its corresponding amulet instead.
The same explanation mentions banning Hunter's Mark, Frost Trap and Arcane Shot. Treat that as the creator's narrated plan for this older build: automatic captions can mishear names, and we have not checked every actual card offer, banish or selection in the run. Availability and banish rules may differ in your game; read the current cards and use the first-run guide if you are still learning the level-up interface.
Aimed Shot amulet and its condition
At 0:25, the Codex displays Eye of the Splitting Sky. Its v0.115.0 description lists Aimed Shot +1 target and +20% damage, with hits leaping to two additional enemies for 30%. The same panel says the amulet is offered only once the hero knows the spell, and another offer empowers it while worn.
That is an older Codex description, not evidence that this player received or selected the amulet during the shown run. Check your current game's tooltip and available choices; the equipment guide explains the difference between the Codex and collected class gear.

A separate Heroic V recording
In a newer Holdherhand video, the talent screen at 0:55 shows 8 Beast Mastery, 32 Marksmanship and 11 Survival points, with all 51 spent and 48 of 54 equipment pieces collected. This is a different character setup from the 11/32/8 example above, not a point-by-point revision of it.
At 1:15 the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj difficulty menu shows Heroic V selected and v0.123.0. At 26:25 a Victory screen names the same zone and shows 20:01 survived, level 79 and six bosses slain. The creator identifies the run as Heroic V; the sampled frames do not independently establish every transition between the menu and result. Neither this result nor the title proves a current best build or a new character's outcome.
At 2:10, the third-party planner lists Aimed Shot, Auto Shot and Frost Trap, with Concussive Shot, Hunter's Mark and Multi-Shot marked for banishing. This is a plan, not a verified record of every selection. At 26:45, the collection screen displays an empowered eight-piece Cryptstalker effect: Aimed Shot pierces up to six more enemies for 60% of its damage. That is the recorded character's v0.123.0 equipment description; the complete set and its upgraded pieces are not available to a fresh Hunter, and later versions may differ.

What remains unverified
The character menu at 1:15 displays Naxxramas, but the reviewed frames do not establish the run's final result. The video's title and the creator's opinion do not prove a current best build. For a new character, use the zone guide to check the menu's unlock conditions before attempting later areas.
